St Pancras International Station – Information for Travellers

Overview

St Pancras International is one of London's most iconic and architecturally magnificent railway stations, located on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden. The station's stunning Victorian Gothic frontage — dominated by the landmark St Pancras Renaissance Hotel — was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and opened in 1868. Behind the historic facade lies one of Europe's busiest and most modern rail terminals.

The station serves as London's primary international rail hub, home to Eurostar services to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. Domestic services are provided by Thameslink (running through central London to Gatwick Airport and Brighton), East Midlands Railway (to Nottingham, Derby, and Sheffield), and Southeastern high-speed services via HS1 to Kent.

St Pancras is directly connected underground to King's Cross St. Pancras Underground station, giving access to six London Underground lines, making the combined complex one of the most important transport interchanges in the UK.
